I love reading comments on my blog, who doesn’t? I try to respond to all of them as time permits. So, if you read a post that makes you feel passionate, encouraged, intrigued, puzzled… take time to let me know.

Jackie, I was going to leave a comment on your edarticle.com piece about spelling. But I didn’t want to seem to be arguing with you. I write a great deal about reading and the big problem is still sight-words. I have a lot of stuff on that same site about reading, etc. if you’re looking for a topic for a future post, please quote me, attack me, analyze me, whatever. I think the only thing that can save American education is that lots more people are brought into the discussion; I always hope people use my work that way.
